I have been practicing law since August 2018, beginning my career under the mentorship of the distinguished Senior Advocate, Mr. Gurminder Singh, who now holds the position of Advocate General of Punjab. During my time in his office, I gained invaluable experience in handling high-stakes litigation and developed a strong foundation in various areas of law.This formative period allowed me to observe and contribute to legal strategies in complex cases, enhancing my skills as an advocate. In September 2019, I embarked on independent practice, focusing on a wide range of legal matters. I was empanelled as counsel for several government bodies and prominent banks, representing them in contentious matters before the Hon'ble High Court at Chandigarh and various tribunals. My role involved drafting, filing, and arguing cases, as well as providing legal opinions on intricate issues. Over the years, I have successfully filed and managed more than 350 cases in the High Court at Chandigarh, covering diverse areas of law, including constitutional, civil, and commercial disputes. Recently, I had the privilege of serving as the Legal Head of Kaya Blenders and Distillers Limited, where I played a pivotal role in managing legal affairs at both national and international levels. In this capacity, I was responsible for overseeing arbitration proceedings, ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks, and resolving disputes efficiently. My responsibilities also included engaging and teaming with legal teams across India and abroad, coordinating with counsels in different jurisdictions, and negotiating legal strategies to address ongoing disputes effectively. Through these experiences, I have developed a nuanced understanding of litigation, arbitration, and legal negotiations, further strengthening my ability to handle complex and dynamic legal challenges.
