About Me

My Background I have been associated with various forms of Classical Yoga more than 50 years. But that was my private life apart from my education and profession. I left my University teaching job in 2017 and transitioned to Yoga training. My Current Profile I am an Globally certified Yoga Trainer, based at Kolkata, currently teaching as visiting faculty in : i) VYASA, Kolkata and ii) Hiranyagarbhaya Vedic and Yogic Insitute, Kolkata. I teach Yog Philisophy, Pranayam and Meditation in the above institutions. Besides that I also give training in Fitness and nutrition. I was a university professor turned into a Yoga trainer with qualifications, like: 1. E- CYT 300+500 hours from Universal Yoga Alliance International, 2. RYT 300 from Rishikul Yogsala, RYS, Kerala & Rishikesh and RYT 200 from Retreats for Me, RYS, Delhi, 3. YIC 300 from VYASA, Kolkata, 4. Advanced Diploma in Yog Therapy (ADYT1200) from Hiranyagarbhaya Vedic and Yogic Institute, Kolkata. I am a certified Yoga judge, done certificate courses in yogic massage, nutrition.
